I have worked on various computer science problems while at UC San Diego, Spawar and UC Irvine.
At UC San Diego, my senior design project was titled "Camera Based Hand and Body Driven Interaction with Very Large Displays". We used computer vision techniques to develop a system which recognizes a user's hand motions as a cursor for a large titled display.
At SPAWAR, I worked on RAPIER, an ship detection system using overhead satellite imagery. More details can be found from the published paper http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2007SPIE.6696E..45B
